International Talent on Display
Boris “Ryujin” Kim of ARCRED won the European FACEIT Pro League (FPL) title, putting pressure on the top players from Europe to the region. In the meantime, Stanley ‘calamity’ Chiu lifted the cup for North America; Marcos ‘fokiu’ Paulo was the South American circuit leader and Zeyad ‘OSCAR’ Alrummani was the Middle East champion. This indicates that FACEIT reaches a global audience and the variety of talent throughout.
FACEIT has announced the roadmap for season 6 as it dethrones the leaders of season 5. To keep things competitive, the top players have experienced a soft ELO reset. Every season is a new opportunity for leaderboard glory thanks to this adjustment.
In addition, the map pool has seen a notable update. Valve made a significant change to the active duty map group, removing Anubis and adding Overpass, which the company reintroduced on 16 July 2025.
Season 6 will start on 22 July and run through to 23 November. This means players will get over four months to put their names on the leaderboard and take on the best. As revamping the field gets ready, more and more fresh entrants look to carve their niche amongst top contenders.
The long-standing champions or budding new talent stories, FACEIT’s ever-evolving seasons are always capturing the world’s attention in CS2.
