Tips for Leveling Up in Game of Thrones: Kingsroad

Improving a character in Game of Thrones: KingsroadGame of Thrones is done through progression.  As you climb the tiers, it grants extra potency to Skills, new Traits, and better access to rarer gear. The Momentum stat is crucial for taking on tougher enemies and for progressing into deeper content and this is built up through all of this.

Understanding Character Growth Through EXP

In Kingsroad development, at the heart are Experience Points (EXP). Players earn EXP by engaging in a variety of in-game tasks. When enough collectible have been gathered by a character, they automatically level up which does not require confirmation from the player’s end or going through a menu. With each new level, you get to assign new Traits and improve certain Skills.

There is another bonus with the Champion of Winter event. With every level you achieve (up to Level 25) during this seasonal event, you will get exclusive rewards in this game. Therefore, it is worth leveling up quickly.

Advancing Toward The Level Ceiling

Right now, the maximum level in Kingsroad is 45, which has been increased from 40 from early access.  As the game gets updated in the future, it is likely that this ceiling may increase. When the player reaches the limit, they can experience other Classes without losing their complete prior progress.

Best Ways To Accumulate Experience

Progressing Through Quests

The easiest and best way to get experience is to finish quests.  The main storyline missions offer the biggest rewards. But, the side missions also give a lot of experience. Especially the ones connected with important fights and story moments. In the quest log and world map, EXP payouts will be viewable before selecting a new quest.

Additional Opportunities To Gain EXP

Beyond The Usual Combat.

Even though standard enemy battles do not give EXP most of the time, there are a few other ways to level up the players quickly.

Altar Of Memories

Groups can fight bosses in Winterfell’s Godswood in cooperative mode. These encounters yield valuable loot and EXP upon victory.

Quest-Related Bosses

Bosses linked with quests or the overworld often offer EXP upon defeat, making them useful targets for power levelling.

Bandit Camps

Broken Weirwood Trees

Through these gateways players can go back to battles of the past (Echoes of the Past). You can replay the stages after a cooldown to farm more EXP and resources.

Wildlife Encounters

Killing wolves and other similar monsters gives small amounts of EXP per kill. However, farming them in larger numbers can give a decent gain.

Many of these activities use RP (Resource Points), which refill with time, so please take note. You’ll be able to want continue using the leveling and other options even though players are always repetitive.

Final Thoughts On Progression
