July 2025 won’t be any different. A bunch of current offerings will be leaving the subscription service next month. Certain months have been characterized by large waves of removals; however, on this occasion, only a small selection is going. However, some famous names will leave even though that’s true.
The Line-up Set to Leave in Mid-July
On July 15, five titles will bid farewell to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, as per report. These titles include.
- Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.
- Dying Light 2: Stay Human.
- Job Simulator.
- Remnant 2. Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong.
Fewer titles are leaving Netflix in July than previous months. Specifically, this month we only have two shows leaving.
Compared to 22 shows that left in May and six that left in June, this is a much smaller number. The removals will vary greatly from month to month in scale; a shorter list is certainly a relief for long-time subscribers hoping to avoid losing access to their favourites.
New Additions Continue to Balance the Library
Sony has been keeping the PlayStation Plus library fresh with new content regularly. This month, some major titles were added to the Classics range resident evil, twisted metal and Deus Ex are some major entries that were added.
Several new games have recently been added to the service’s core catalogue, including Battlefield 2042 and Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2, among others. Doing these updates on a regular basis will lessen the sting associated with games exiting from the library.
Sony’s Strategy and What Might Come Next
Sony has acknowledged the continuing success of the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers which may yet see a price change in the future. While there have been no official confirmations for increases, subscribers may benefit from being prepared for one soon.
Right now, attention will remain on the few games leaving in July giving players one last chance to try them out before they leave the service.
